A non-traditional path to medicine equipped me with the natural ability to connect with patients from all walks of life.  Passionate about the founding of Emergency Medicine as "medical care for anyone at any time", I successfully completed two full years of Emergency Medicine residency training at a Level III trauma center at a community hospital in North Houston where I honed my skills as a proceduralist and clinician.  Love for the field of Emergency Medicine kept me motivated through medical school and match however I was disappointed once practicing as a resident physician to see that corporate medicine was not honoring the human element of medicine. Determined to make a real difference in the lives of my patients I have set out to practice as a general practitioner with a focus on lifestyle medicine, ketamine assisted therapy, addiction medicine, and walking with my patients on their unique paths to wellness.
